
- RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SECURITY GUARD IN CHARGE OF CAMERA ROOM – Vietnam 24H Security Company:
– The Security Guard is responsible for adhering to all protocols and regulations related to security operations.- – Be familiar with the contact numbers of the Building Management Board (BMB) and Technical Department for work-related communication.
- – Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information regarding clients and partners.
- – Continuously monitor the CCTV screens, observing all activities displayed across all monitors.
- – Identify which screen corresponds to which area, ensuring accurate reporting of any abnormalities to the Security Guard stationed in that specific location for immediate action.
- – When leaving the post: notify the Team Leader and ensure a replacement is present. Under no circumstances should the post be left unattended.
- – Maintain a camera monitoring logbook: Record any unusual security incidents or violations of building regulations. Prepare reports if requested by the Building Management Board.
- – Master the skills of CCTV observation. Continuously monitor all camera screens. Immediately report any unusual events, security incidents, or emergencies to the Security Team Leader and the Building Management Board for timely support and coordination.
- – Maintain communication with all security positions within the building to promptly address cases of theft, fire incidents, security disturbances, or violations of regulations and laws.
- – Supervise building access. Identify and report any suspicious individuals entering the building.
- – The Security Guard must not allow unauthorized individuals into the Camera Room (only Technical Department personnel and the Building Management Board are permitted for inspections). Other cases require approval from the Building Management Board and must be recorded in the camera monitoring logbook.
- – During shift handovers in the Camera Room: conduct a detailed inventory of equipment and assets in the Camera Room and take responsibility for them upon signing the handover.
- – Notify the Building Management Board, technical staff, Security Team, and (114) Fire and Rescue Police in case of major fire emergencies.
- – Identify and address fire alarm zones displayed on the central control panel. Determine the location and nature of the fire (false alarm or actual fire) and promptly report to the Security Team Leader and Building Management Board for support or directives on handling the incident.
Steps to Handle Fire Alarm Signals: When the fire alarm system signals a fire: The Security Guard must remain calm and quickly execute the following steps:
- Check the fire alarm control panel for the location of the alarm.
- Inform the Command Center, patrolling guards, and building technical staff about the alarm location for immediate action.
- Announce the incident to residents via the public address system.
- Once the patrolling guards and technical staff confirm the cause of the alarm, notify the FCC room guard to reset the central control panel. Simultaneously, inform residents via the public address system to resume normal activities.
- Prohibited actions during the shift:
- Leaving the post without authorization, negligence, laziness, or sleeping during the shift.
- Smoking, using drugs, or consuming alcohol.
- Gambling, reading newspapers, or playing games.
- Displaying aggressive behavior or speaking loudly, causing disturbances to clients.
- Entertaining family, friends, or acquaintances during the shift.
